306 Hartford Road is a 2 1/2 story, 3 bay, rectangular plan, vernacular, wood frame residential building with Shingle style influence. Constructed c. 1885, the brick and wood shingled house is dominated by a hipped roof with flared eaves and a tower. Other features include hipped dormers, massive brick chimneys, and a wrap-around porch. In 1890, the house was owned by H.P. Findlay. By 1911, it was owned by Arthur Schwartzenbach.
